Special Yoga for Children and Adults with Special Needs
We believe all children deserve to feel safe & secure, to be seen & understood and to feel nurtured & valued.
At Breathe.Move.Heal CIC, we offer Special Yoga — a therapeutic, adaptable yoga approach designed specifically for children and adults with special needs.
The child and young persons wellbeing is at the heart of what we do at special yoga at Breathe.Move.Heal. We are constantly evolving as we work together with children and their support network to establish positive outcomes and solutions which support health and welfare.
We believe each and every one of us is unique and has different needs and abilities. We identify the strengths, talents and needs of the child and work from there, acknowledging achievement at every stage.
Everyone deserves to be able to reach their fullest potential, and the mission of special yoga is to offer a service which supports and encourages our young people thrive and flourish.
Rooted in compassion, connection, and co-regulation, our sessions integrate movement, breath work, sound, and mindfulness to support the unique emotional, sensory, and physical needs of each individual.
· Children and adults with special needs
· Families and caregivers seeking gentle approaches to wellbeing
· Schools, SEN units
· Gentle movement to support motor development, coordination, and regulation

Let’s move, breathe, and heal — together.
At Breathe.Move.Heal CIC, we deliver Special Yoga sessions that support the emotional regulation, focus, and wellbeing of children with special educational needs and disabilities. Our school-based programs are fully adaptable, sensory-aware, and designed to complement existing therapies and education plans. We collaborate closely with staff to create a calm, supportive environment where students can thrive both physically and emotionally — helping reduce anxiety, improve classroom participation, and build resilience.
Our Special Yoga program offers a holistic, proven approach to improving mental health and quality of life for children and adults with special needs. With your support, we can expand access to therapeutic yoga and mindfulness sessions for underserved communities, schools, and families navigating special needs and disability. Your contribution helps us provide inclusive, embodied tools for self-regulation, co-regulation, and empowerment — delivered by professionals with both lived and clinical experience. Together, we are building compassionate, accessible mental health care.
Special Yoga is a safe, gentle, and deeply nurturing practice designed to meet your child exactly where they are. Whether your child has autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, or other needs, our sessions help support emotional regulation, sensory integration, better sleep, and reduced anxiety — all through movement, breath, and sound. As both a certified practitioner and a mother of a child with special needs, I understand the daily challenges. Special Yoga became a lifeline in my own family, and now I bring this healing to others with empathy, care, and adaptability.
